  • The Flow Security Systems PRE-VENT Fuel Cap represents the latest in fuel cap technoloy. The FSS 750 pre-vent cap is designed to permit the controlled release of fuel tank pressure from volatile fuels. When removing the cap to refuel a 1/2 turn of the cap releases the fuel tank pressure before the caps sealing gasket is released from the filler neck. This feature dramatically reduces the possibility of fuel expulsion from the filler neck when the cap is removed. The FSS 750 pre-vent security cap is for use on diesel, transfer and auxilary tanks. If needed, use leather or rubber washes to shim between the tabs and the backbone to ensure an even fit. Do not sand seams or welded edges of gas tanks, if needed use a thin spread of body filler prior to painting.
  • The Frisco style gas tank is a throwback to sixties show bikes. Sportster tank is a direct bolt on for 2007 and up Sportsters which use electronic fuel injection (EFI). The custom tank will use the stock fuel pump and gas cap and is a direct bolt on part. No drilling, welding or fabrication of mounting points is required. The notorious flat spot removed from the top of the tank. This is a Frisco mount tank so it will sit high up on the back.
