Over-watering is the most common reason why succulents and cactus do not survive. Our cacti mix solves the problem by improving drainage and retaining only the water that is needed.
- Do Not Pot in the Wrong Cactus Mix: Succulents can become stressed and waterlogged if too much attention is paid to them (aka watering too often). As most succulent plants come from dry climates it is important the water can drain properly from the pot. The right potting soil for succulents can boost the health of your plant.
- Make Sure Your Pots Have Drainage Holes: Because this cactus potting mix is designed to help with the flow of water, it is important that you choose a pot with drainage holes.
