These corrosion-proof polypropylene exhaust hoods are designed to rest on the rear edge of tanks and draw a stream of air across the top of the tank away from the operator.
Slot dimensions are 3" height by 4" depth, 8" stack O.D., 1/4" material thickness.

Charcoal goes through a chemical or hot gas process to create activated charcoal. After this process of “activation”, the charcoal is more porous and more absorbent. Our activated charcoal is derived from organic coconut shells which goes through a process of burning the coconut shells in an airless high heat oven, which then goes through a hot gas nitrogen process to create activated charcoal. We do not use chemical processing.
Natural hot gas process: The hot gas process gives the activated charcoal an incredible ability to bind to other substances. The process of burning creates natural gases which are absorbed at minimal amounts by the activated charcoal, this odor is harmless and minimal.
The down side of the hot gas process is the scent but with chemical processing it will allow the activated charcoal to absorb the stronger chemical agents used..
